How to Use Almonds for Skin Whitening?
Almond Milk for Skin Whitening
Almond milk is a white liquid substance that can help you glow from the inside out. It is quite literally milk made from almonds. The great thing about almond milk is that it is surprisingly low in calories and rich in other nutrients. Almonds are naturally high in vitamin E and so is almond milk. Vitamin E is important for hair growth and skin health. Drinking almond milk every day will give you beautiful glowing skin and will also help your overall health. A lot of people forget that a huge part of skincare is also what you are putting into your body. Your diet is mostly what makes your skin good or bad.
You can buy almond milk at almost any grocery store but if you want to make it at home the process is surprisingly simple. You need to do is soak about a cup of almonds overnight and then strain them in the morning then put them in a blender with some water and blend. Your almond milk will be ready in no time. You can add vanilla extract and cinnamon to add a little bit of flavor to it. You can add this milk to smoothies and milkshakes to increase its benefits and also just drinks the milk all on its own. Almond Oil for Skin Whitening
Almond oil is the oil extracted from almonds and it is rich in fatty acids and vitamin E as well due to which it can act as a brilliant serum. You can use almond oil as an eye cream to treat your dark circles as well and it proves to be highly effective. However, you need to remember that you can only use this oil before your actual moisturizer because otherwise, it would not absorb into your skin. This is because the moisturizer is supposed to form a barrier on your skin and it prevents dirt and grime from absorbing. That is why if you apply anything after your moisturizer it will not seep into your skin.
I personally wash my face then use rose water toner after which I use almond oil and I follow it up with Aloe vera gel. The Aloe vera gel mattifies my face after using the almond oil and helps my skin absorb it all. Please make sure to also massage the almond oil on your face quite well for at least ten to fifteen minutes. If you want you can add a drop of any essential oil of your choosing to the almond oil to make the oil even more nourishing. Within just one week of using the oil, you’ll notice that your skin has drastically improved and is now more even toned. It will also have a natural glow to it.
However, keep in mind that this is only a remedy for dry skin if you have oily skin you can use this as well. Almond oil does not clog your pores and it’s fatty acids actually dissolves sebum and helps clean it out. So if you have oily skin you can actually use almond oil as a cleansing oil and follow it up with a foaming face wash and do a double cleanse.
Almond Face Pack for Skin Whitening
If you want healthy and plump skin it is important that you use a face mask at least once or twice a week. Almonds are highly moisturizing and can make a brilliant mask for both oily and dry skin. This face mask will have smaller proteins and will absorb easily into the skin giving it a natural radiant glow. All you need to do is ground a few almonds down to a fine powder. Then mix one teaspoon of this powder with one teaspoon of Fuller’s earth (Multani Mitti) or sandalwood. Then add a few drops of almond oil and goat yogurt to make a smooth paste. Apply this paste and leave it on for thirty minutes then wash it off and follow it up with your usual routine.
You’ll notice an instant difference in your skin’s complexion and it will be more even toned and beautiful. If you want you can completely skip the Sandalwood or Fuller’s earth if you have dry skin. It will only make the mask more moisturizing.
These are all great remedy if you want to use almonds for skin lightening (I do not support that and I think all skin tones are beautiful but if you want to do it you do you) however that is not it’s the primary purpose. It will moisturize and tighten your skin making it appear more youthful and plump. It will also undo the sun damage and help you get rid of dark spots and acne scars as well if you are consistent and make a routine out of them. If you are allergic to nuts you can swap out almond oil for hempseed or argan oil in your daily routine. That will show equally great results as well.
